Tell Us Your Story!

"As a young child, I felt a connection with animals and sought out material to learn more. One notable publication for me was KIND magazine [predecessor to KIND News] It opened the door to the world of animal welfare and validated my feelings that animals deserve our consideration."

"I joined The HSUS at the age of 10. Information about the plight of animals I learned from KIND  [then known as Kindness in Nature's Defense] solidified my commitment to helping animals in every way possible and helped set my life's course. KIND News continues this tradition of inspiring young people to treat all beings with compassion and respect, and to work toward a better world for all."
