Veterinary professionals: Learn how KIND News can benefit your practice

Kindling a relationship with children—and their parents and teachers—is an excellent way to reach out to the public, enhance your image in the community, and broaden your client base. And it can be rewarding, fun, and energizing for you and your staff. The Adopt-a-Classroom program can get you started!

Generate Publicity for Your Practice
Providing a valuable, respected educational resource like KIND News to schools gives you a continuous, positive presence in the classroom and helps you develop a lasting relationship with teachers, children, and parents—all of whom may become new veterinary clients as a result. Here are just some of the ways the Adopt-a-Classroom program can generate positive publicity for you:
• When you adopt a classroom, your name—or the name of your practice—appears on the mailing label of each bundle of KIND News. You may also present certificates of adoption to your classroom; we’ll be glad to send you as many as you need.
• The Adopt-a-Classroom program opens the door for you and your staff to visit schools on career days or host field trips to your clinic.
• Your participation in the Adopt-a-Classroom program is a newsworthy event! Use our sample news release to get the word out to local newspapers and other media about your practice and its contribution to children and animals in your community. Presenting certificates of adoption makes a great photo opportunity too!
